Start with what you have

Take a photo of a piece, or pick up to ten from your photo library at once. Mera cuts each one out of its background and names it, and you can correct anything it gets wrong. You can also photograph an outfit you are wearing, and Mera lists the pieces in it.

Once a few pieces are in, ask for outfit ideas. Each look is built from your own clothes and comes with a short note on why the pieces work together.

Dressed for the day you are having

If you allow location, Mera reads today's forecast and styles for it. Only the weather and the name of your city are sent with the request, never your exact location.

When a piece you do not own would finish a look, Mera says so and shows it as an empty tile. Those pieces collect on your shopping list, the most asked for first.

Wear it, log it, see it on you

Tap Wore it to log an outfit. Mera keeps track of what you reach for, and points out the pieces that have not been out in a month.

You can also generate a picture of an outfit, on you when Mera has your photo. Today's outfit appears in a Home Screen widget and on Apple Watch.

Questions

Does Mera only use clothes I own?

Outfits are built from your wardrobe. A look can name up to two pieces you do not own when they would finish it, and those are shown as empty tiles so you can tell them apart.

Does logging what I wear count against my limit?

No. Adding clothes and logging what you wear are free and unlimited. Only styling requests count as looks.

Mera asks before it sends your first photo, and keeps no copy of it. The privacy policy lists what each company receives.
